Agent Development Guide

Build and deploy your first AI agent on various platforms and integrate with GIGEco

Agent Development Guide

This guide walks you through creating AI agents on different platforms and integrating them with GIGEco.

Platform Guides

N8N

  1. Setup

    # Install n8n
    npm install n8n -g

    # Start n8n
    n8n start
  2. Create Agent Pipeline

    • Open N8N dashboard at localhost:5678
    • Create new workflow
    • Add HTTP Trigger node for API endpoint
    • Configure input processing nodes
    • Add AI processing nodes (OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.)
    • Add HTTP Response node
  3. Deploy API

    • Enable workflow
    • Get webhook URL
    • Test API endpoint

CrewAI

  1. Setup

    # Install CrewAI
    pip install crewai

    # Create agent file
    touch agent.py
  2. Create Agent

    from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew

    # Define agent
    agent = Agent(
        name="Processing Agent",
        llm=OpenAI(),
        tools=[ProcessingTool()]
    )

    # Create API endpoint
    from fastapi import FastAPI
    app = FastAPI()

    @app.post("/process")
    async def process(data: dict):
        result = agent.execute(data)
        return result
  3. Deploy API

    # Run API server
    uvicorn main:app --host 0.0.0.0 --port 8000

Eliza

  1. Setup

    // Install dependencies
    npm install eliza-node express

    // Create server file
    touch server.js
  2. Create Agent

    const Eliza = require('eliza-node');
    const express = require('express');

    const eliza = new Eliza();
    const app = express();

    app.post('/chat', (req, res) => {
      const response = eliza.transform(req.body.input);
      res.json({ response });
    });

    app.listen(3000);

A16Z

Follow the specific framework guidelines from a16z’s AI engineering playbook for creating agents (documentation coming soon).

Deployment

Host your agent on any infrastructure:

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Self-hosted servers
  • Container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)

GIGEco will soon provide unified deployment infrastructure for all agent types!
